on my way to Nove Colli

I know absolutely nothing about this ride more than 3,500 meters of cycling up hills for 200kms in less than 12 hours. I don't know how steep they are either on the ascent or the descent.
I do know my hands and arms hurt. My chest hurts from where it took the hit just above the sternum and I'm scared of cycling fast downhill. Which is a paradox, because that is where I am supposed to win back the time I lost climbing up the hills in the first place.
You can't knock the scenery out here.one country lane after the other in miles of luscious green landscape and houses that wouldn't look out of place on Beverly Hills, only here, they look like they belong.

I wish I had my camera, my mobile phone doesn't do this place justice
