Spin of Hope 2011 1m+sek

Wow! What a day, what an event! Over 48 gyms around Sweden participated in 12 hours of spinning for the Childrens Cancer Concern.
I was involved in my home town Norrköping at Friskis and Svettis (Fresh and Sweaty)
I cycled 6 hours and instructed one.
Ride of Hope were represented with 5 teams in Norrköping, none of which deserve a mention more than the other but a special mention all the same for Chatrine. All 12 hours! Mega!
Afterwards we ate at O'Learys and drifted off to our respective homes happy with what we'd achieved.

On the eve of the event we reached a milestone for the event. 1 million Swedish crowns raised, and that's not including all the minor activities and drop-in!

Now and again I step back and look at what's happened, look at all the new friendships that have been made, all the fun that is being had and all the good we are doing and it is very hard to not be proud of what took place today.
Proud of myself and proud of everyone that took the initiative and got involved.
