The Calm Before the Storm Ladies and Knights of Hope

Just now Ride of Hope is like a Ship silently waiting outside its first Port of call. Her decks are clear, her masts free from tangled line and her figurehead, 2 smiling children with eyes cast upon the horizon and the future, each have one arm outstretched, reaching.
Her anchors are deep beneath the ocean, their iron chainlinks straining from her pull, her desire to break free and set sail are unrelenting.

Plans have been forged and for the next and final month her hold will be meticulously filled with provisions. Her crew grow by the day; Warriors of the cause. Ladies and Knights with one common goal.
Come the day, Hope will sail to land and release each and everyone of her crew to land and for the next 9 days they will battle against the elements in a unified chorus of goodwill and cheer.

I can't wait to start, despite a knee that feels like I may well be hampered, I will restrict myself from making any foolhardy decisions.
My personal pain will hopefully mean someone elses personal gain, but I'm not in this to suffer. I'm in this to reduce suffering, and I shall not mock others worse off than I with some makeshift symbol of what they are experiencing. Sure, it will be hard some days, physically hard that is -

But make no mistake, there is NOTHING worse for the human soul, than having to bury your own child. So No! I will not suffer for you, I will fight for you and all around you and I hope, that if you read this, you will join me,
somewhere, some time between 7th and 15th August.
